VIDEO WALL

WHAT'S A VIDEO WALL ?

Video wall is the expression, meaning that an image is transmitted to a regulated and operated group of screens – video-dat-cubes, on which we can conjure up a composite or a combined video image.

The source of the image is:
  • Video tape,
  • The image can be directly transmitted by a camera to a wall,
  • Television broadcast,
  • Computer transmission,
  • Combination of the above.
Video-dat cubes are designed in such a way that they enable excellent image reproduction, without reflection. As the front side is flat, the image is seen practically without any scanning pattern.

FUNCTIONING OF A VIDEO WALL

All phases of disintegration and integration of a video image are managed by a computer, programming and reproduction are simple and can be implemented within two days upon submission of materials, for example.

WHEN AND WHAT TYPE OF A VIDEO WALL DO YOU NEED

Using a video wall is suitable, when many people are expected for a particular event and the premises are not completely dark.
It is especially useful for events, which are held in open spaces.
The size of the wall (the number of cubes) is determined on the basis of the space available and the expected number of viewers.

WHERE CAN WE SEE A VIDEO WALL

A video wall results in a high power of perception in the following cases:
  • at trade shows and various events, because the happening in halls can be transmitted directly to a wall;
  • at cultural and other entertaining events, when video wall replaces scenography and conjures special atmosphere;
  • at department stores, where sponsors’ messages can be used in order to present the offer in detail.
All technical installations are put in front of the cubes that can therefore be set against the wall, thus creating additional useful space, which is especially precious at trade shows, for example.

EXCELLENT COMPUTER PRESENTATION

As video-dat-cubes have enhanced luminosity and are S-VGA compatible, they function at the frequency of 100 Hz (excellent image sharpness) and through a PC outlet they enable direct transmission of computer images, while absence of raster on the wall enables excellent visibility.
