FACTS ABOUT "INCENTIVE TOURS"


Several studies of British and American companies revealed the following facts:
  • 75% of companies organize up to five incentive tours per year (10% 1; 10% 10; 5% over 10),
  • The average duration of such tours is 2 to 5 days; 4-day tours are the most frequent,
  • No. of participants: in 39% of cases up to 50 persons; in 61% of cases over 50 persons,
  • Tourist attraction is the prevailing decisive factor in 32 % of the cases (followed by price - 18%; good traffic communication - 15%; safety - 10%, exotica - 9%; personal interest of the decision-maker - 7%, other - 9%).

OUR EXPERIENCES WITH "INCENTIVE TOURS"


Within the period between 1998 and 2005 we organized 27 brief, 8 one-day tours and 2 longer tours (cruising, airplane tour across Slovenia), including presentations, promotions and seminars. According to the results of a survey on incentive tours (in which188 Slovene managers and their partners participated):
  • Incentive tours are regarded as exceptionally suitable,
  • They were prepared to engage in an adventurous programme,
  • Exotic and extraordinary sites prevail among preferred destinations.

CONCLUSION


We have over 15 years of experiences in tourism and are officially registered for organization and carrying out of incentive tours.
  • Based on the selected goals, the starting points for the preparation of incentive tours are defined jointly,
  • The contents of the programme is of utmost importance,
  • Technical implementation of the programme does not represent a problem for us,
  • The price of incentive tours is based on mutual agreement,
  • In reference to the selected goal, the effect is outstanding.
